Finland

The land of the tall and the home of the blond. I've always wanted to visit Finland since I found out my grandmother was born and raised there. I know, I know. It's freezing there. And I know, I know, the people will make my self confidence plummet. I'm going anyway.

Besides for skiing, there are many other things to do and see in Finland.

Like what?

To see the Aurora Borealis.

The Beautiful Sights

Amos Anderson Art Museum

Kiasma Modern Art Museum

And many more.

Travel

I've always wanted to travel the world. So, I made a bucket list. I'll go through the bucket list, and while I can't promise I'll post every day, I do promise to make it interesting and explain WHY I want to go there.

Moscow

It's gorgeous there. So, yeah that's basically why.
Where in Moscow?

To the Tretyakov Gallery
A world famous museum. The Exhibitions are temporary.

Red Square
The square was considered the middle of Moscow and held many festivities including coronations of Tzars, and military parades throughout the years. It was also the sight of many public executions during Stalin's reign.

Diamond Fund
It's a unique collection of gems/diamonds from all over.

The Armoury
A museum of the different Tzar's possessions throughout the ages.

The Metro
The local train station is busy constantly, however the architecture is gorgeous.

The Kremlin Fortress
Many of the things above are in the Kremlin. This is the magnificent fortress.

Pushkin State Museum
The largest museum of western art in all of Moscow. (I'm assuming this means it's not the only one.) The International Music Festival, Svyatolav Richter's December nights, is held there annually.

And many more.

Flytilla....

I was just reading an Israeli news article for more facts on an event that happened recently. I find it to be quite hilarious in its simple stupidity. Firstly, let's get this straight. I'm Pro-Israel. I'm anti-terrorist. Whether or not Arab minorities fall into the latter category, I have no control over. With that said, Anyone pro Palestine probably won't like what I have to say and the opposite is most likely true. I should clarify another thing= NOT ALL MUSLIMS ARE TERRORISTS. Actually, most aren't. There are bad seeds in every race and religion and when your religion has a population of a few billion, the 'loud minorities', which are about 2%, can get to be very large.

That said, I do not agree with the political objective of Palestine(/Iran/any other Hamas/Muslim Brotherhood run government) or the incredibly immoral code it stands by. By this, I do not mean the general population, of which are being fed countless propaganda articles and do not have the information to make their own knowledgeable decision. I mean the country it has no choice but to deal with. Unless moving is an option and by the time you can make the choice to move, no one would want to, short of the fear for their own safety. Though, in reality, many of the lies published by the Tehran Times are for  the mass population to feel safe and protected. Or to instill major fear and fuel the hatred of Israel and it's population as a whole, but their incredibly high amounts of censorship is another issue for another day.

What I want to talk about is a partially separate matter.

If you go to the link above, you will see the news article, published by the Times Of Israel on April 15th , written by Yoel Goldman and Gabe Fisher, about the prevention of the massive flytilla 'project'.

In the blog below, you can tell the author, though trying to be objective about the situation, disapproves of the way Prime Minister Bb handled things. I happen to have a different approach than him.

http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=2916809362071329011&postID=3791129847067421399

The flytilla was a mass fly in to Israel to protest the country and stand beside Pro Palestinians to show their sense of friendship. Bb had most deported back immediately, with letters in-hand. The rest are being held until future deportation.

The letters from the Prime Minister's office basically told them to fly a kite and actually do something useful with their time. I'm still laughing about this.

In short, BB said that for sure the protestors are welcome into the country as long as they aren't considered a safety hazard and of course, go to Syria (To see the monstrosities there), then to Iran (Where human rights are completely ignored and women are stoned regularly) and then to the Gaza Strip, where Hamas uses little children as human shields against rockets thrown in retaliation.  After all that they are welcome to come back to Israel and report their findings.

This blog, is all about my point of view and here it is ladies, gentleman and my mom=

He was right to. I'm still laughing silently at this. How dare these spoiled French (mostly) brats go to Israel, a country in war, and tell them how incredibly unjust they are. Do they remember reading in American history how in WW2 they put all the Japanese citizens in relocation camps, where they almost starved, died from diseases and lost all of their belongings? And that's completely overlooked? How about in Iran, where women can be bound and thrown in a river because her dinner wasn't good enough? Syria-where people are killed everyday for no good reason other than the fact that they are so used to killing they can't control themselves? How about how Turkey still refuses to admit to holding a mass genocide of the Armenian Christians? Or the CURENT DAY GENOCIDE in Darfur?

Do these activists know nothing? Or all they all just caught up in the anti-Israel hype. Ooh Israel is so bad! Good God, They're the only democracy in the Middle East!

It's very easy to judge Israel and the way it runs things from America, France or Britain, where terrorist attacks don't even happen every decade. In Israel you never know when the next attack will be. After 9/11 everyone understood how Israel felt. But they've all forgotten the feeling. The feeling that your world is being destroyed and you can't stop it. That your family can disappear at any moment. That they can go to the local pizza shop and never make it back. How dare these spoiled, ignorant and useless brats go to Israel and 'report their unjust findings'! They have no right! They should go around the world. To poverty stricken countries like Haiti. To Darfur. To Mayanmar, where the people have no rights and no say to what goes on. They should go protest the completely unjust child labor laws in China. These people are wasting their time and money on a trip that is pointless.

I think they should have given them parachute training quickly, given them a parachute, and pushed them out of the plane in their respective countries.

But you know, when you're all done with those protests, please come visit us again.

American Sign Language

I've recently started learning sign language. I've realized that most words have some sort of relation to the sign. If you want an easy way to learn how to sign, American Sign Language University's website listed 100 signs they believe it's imperative for first time learners to remember which will be the stepping stones for future learning. I go back there all the time to review. It's really easy. The teacher even explains it and there are videos/pictures to represent the exact movements. You can see the letters and numbers above. You can use this if you don't know a word or for someone's name. Though deaf person can give you a 'sign' name that could represent you, only a person with limited to no hearing can and most people don't have access to non-hearing person. If you're interested in learning more, you can go to:
